A friend of mine Jey Srikantha from K2.NET has just let me know about CodeCampSA.
This free event sponsored by UniSA, ADNUG and Australian Computer Society is the Adelaide version of the very popular CodeCampOz http://www.codecampoz.com held in Wagga Wagga in April. For those who find the journey to Wagga Wagga difficult, the CodeCamp is coming to SA. There will be continuous presentations (apart from breaks for BBQ lunch and coffee)
There will be heaps of great presenters like Dave Glover, Mitch Denny, Greg Low and of course Jey will be giving two presentations (“Blessings of the blackpearl– K2[blackpearl] and .NET” and “MOSS’ing around with blackpearl – k2[blackpearl] and MOSS”). The complete agenda and speaker list is on the event page of the ADNUG website.
I think I will find it difficult to get over to SA to attend as I am extremely busy, but I will try. Although the event is free you still need to register to attend each day.
WHERE: UniSA, Theatre HH4-08 Hans Heysen Building, North Terrace, ADELAIDE SA
WHEN: 8.30 for an 8.45 start 7th-8th July
To register (both Saturday and Sunday).
**Note – if you are going to attend both Saturday and Sunday, please book for both days.**

A colleague of mine Chris O’Connor (a.k.a Grumpy Wookie) has just become a K2 Insider. Chris operates two blogs, a personal blog at http://www.grumpywookie.com/ and a K2.NET focused developer blog at http://www.devK2.net).
The K2 Insider program is similar to the Microsoft MVP program and there are only about 20 people that have been chosen from around the world based on their advanced K2 platform expertise and historical work in the K2 community – so congratulations Chris on being recognised for you expertise.
K2 have also launched a new developer community Web site called K2 Underground, www.k2underground.com, a community-driven Web site designed to empower K2 users and partners.

A colleague of mine Chris O’Connor (aka Grumpy Wookie) has just created another blog where he will be focusing his K2.Net blogging (devK2.net). Chris gets really excited by K2 and is by no doubt the SDM resident expert. I look forward to reading this blog and seeing where it takes him.
“This site is run as an enthusiast non-company-sponsored developer site, having used the K2.NET product amongst other (primarily Microsoft) development tools.
I receive no royalties or commissions from SourceCode, nor profit from sales of K2.NET. Although, I have been pestering my local developer evangelist for a free T-Shirt.”
